Data Quality and Governance Lead

We are seeking a skilled Data Quality and Governance Lead to join our team at Wells Fargo Bank. This is a challenging opportunity for an individual with expertise in data management, analytics, and project management to lead complex initiatives and ensure the quality of data that supports business processes.
About this RoleThis role is part of the Data Analytics Services Team within Independent Testing & Validation. As a key member of this team, you will be responsible for organizing and leading company-wide initiatives to maintain data quality, analyzing and reporting on regulatory requirements, and identifying and recommending analysis of data quality or integrity issues.
You will also oversee the evaluation of data quality metrics and audits, benchmarking the state of data quality, and making decisions in complex situations requiring a solid understanding of data governance standards and procedures.
The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of experience in data management, business analysis, analytics, or project management, with skills in data visualization (Tableau, SAS VA, Microsoft BI), database querying (SQL), and source data from multiple sources. Additionally, you should have knowledge of version control within GitHub, ability to articulate complex concepts clearly, and strong verbal and written communication skills.
Job ExpectationsAs a Data Quality and Governance Lead, you can expect to work in a dynamic environment with flexible shift timings, from 1:30 PM to 10:30 PM. You will be required to adhere to data governance standards and procedures, develop recommendations for optimal approaches to resolve data quality issues, and drive planning and coordination on low to medium-sized remediation efforts.
