Job Description

As a key member of our finance team, you will play a crucial role in the efficient delivery of business information and provide finance expertise to support project management activities.

Reporting to the ECC Business Controller, your primary responsibility will be to work as a Finance Business Partner within the operational team. This involves driving the delivery of key business information, providing finance expertise and insight, and supporting multi-year budget processes.

  • Receivable Controlling: You will analyze revenue targets, allocate budgets, and review customer commercial agreements. Additionally, you will track overdue payments, liaise with customers, and monitor unbilled revenue.
  • Payable Controlling: Your duties will include verifying costs, controlling budgets, and supporting procurement approval. You will also track fixed and recurring supplier invoices, manage project inward cash, and ensure FOREX invoice compliance.

Closing & Reporting: In this role, you will prepare financial reports, reconcile actual cash outflows, and analyze forecast versus actual performance. Your responsibilities will also include preparing analytical financials for management reviews, tracking customer receivables, and gathering data for defense offset compliance.

Required Skills & Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you should have:

  • 8-10 years of experience in finance accounting, with at least 5 years in project accounting with budgeting and analytical responsibilities.
  • Strong knowledge of finance, accounting, cost accounting, budgeting, and cost control principles.
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, and PowerPoint) is mandatory.
  • Able to interpret and evaluate complex financial information through critical thinking.
