Job Opportunity: Project Financial Controller

Project Financial Management Job Role

We are seeking a highly skilled finance professional to lead project financial management activities. The ideal candidate will work closely with the project team and be responsible for providing strategic financial guidance and oversight.

The successful candidate will have demonstrable commercial finance experience in a long-term project environment, strong business partnering, stakeholder management, communication, and presentation skills.

The role requires proactive, dynamic, and self-motivated individuals who can work independently and as part of a team. Key responsibilities include:

Key Responsibilities:
  • Financial Control and Reporting:
    • Developing and managing project budgets, forecasts, and financial reports.
    • Identifying and mitigating financial risks and opportunities.
  • Cost Management:
    • Verifying and controlling costs, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.
    • Managing cash flow and optimizing project funding.
  • Closing and Settlement:
    • Ensuring accurate and timely financial closing and settlement processes.
    • Preparing and submitting financial reports and statements.

Requirements:

  • Chartered Accountant (CA) or MBA Finance degree preferred.
  • 8-10 years of experience in finance accounting with minimum 5 years in project accounting position.
  • Strong knowledge of finance, accounting, cost accounting, budgeting, and cost control principles.
  • Able to interpret and evaluate complex financial information through critical thinking.
  • Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Word, and PowerPoint).
  • Excellent business understanding and experience in complex projects would be advantageous.
  • Professional written, verbal communication, and interpersonal skills.
