Key Role of a Data Architect

A highly skilled Data Architect is sought after to design and implement scalable, secure, and efficient data solutions.

  1. Data Solution Architecture: Design and implement solution architecture that meets client requirements.
  2. Data Pipelines and Lakes: Develop pipelines, architect lakes, and implement warehousing solutions using Databricks.
  3. Machine Learning Models: Collaborate with scientists and analysts to develop and deploy machine learning models and analytics solutions on Databricks.
  4. Cluster Performance Optimization: Optimize cluster performance for efficient resource utilization and cost-effectiveness.
  5. Security and Governance: Implement security features and ensure data governance while maintaining compliance with industry regulations.
  6. Client Collaboration: Work closely with clients to understand their business requirements, provide technical guidance, and deliver high-quality solutions.

The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of experience working with Databricks, including platform architecture, data engineering, and data analytics. They should possess strong technical skills, including proficiency in languages such as Python, Scala, or Java, and experience with Databricks APIs, Spark, and Delta Lake. Additionally, they should have a strong background in data engineering, leadership experience, and excellent communication and interpersonal skills. While not required, certifications like Databricks Certified Professional, cloud experience, and knowledge of machine learning concepts are highly desirable.
