Expert Network Security Specialist

Job Summary :
We are seeking a skilled Fortinet Network Security Engineer to manage and secure our network infrastructure at Terralogic Software Solutions Private Limited. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with Fortinet products, including FortiGate firewalls, and will be responsible for configuring, monitoring, and troubleshooting network security devices.
Key Responsibilities :
- Configure, deploy, and manage FortiGate firewalls and other Fortinet security products to ensure the security and integrity of our data.
- Design and implement network security policies, strategies, and procedures to protect our network infrastructure.
- Monitor network traffic for unusual activity and respond to security incidents to prevent data breaches and cyber attacks.
- Configure VPNs (SSL and IPsec) for secure remote access to our network resources.
- Collaborate with other IT teams to troubleshoot and resolve network issues and ensure seamless network operations.
- Regularly update and patch Fortinet devices to ensure compliance with security standards and industry best practices.
- Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for configurations, processes, and security incidents to facilitate knowledge sharing and continuous improvement.
Requirements :
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Proven experience with Fortinet products, particularly FortiGate firewalls, and a strong understanding of networking concepts.
- Experience with VPNs, IDS/IPS, and firewall policies, as well as a Fortinet NSE certification (NSE 4 or above).
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills, with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks effectively.
