Senior Team Leader Job Description

As a senior team leader, you will be responsible for guiding a team of at least seven members and cultivating expertise in various client offerings within areas such as fixed income analytics, risk management, returns analysis, etc.

You will independently provide support to clients, become an expert in end-to-end services operations support, and collaborate with regional and global leaders to effectively manage initiatives.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Developing expertise in client offerings and workstation capabilities within specific areas
  • Providing support to clients and becoming an expert in services operations support
  • Collaborating with regional and global leaders to manage initiatives
  • Driving operational efficiency and consistency across global teams
  • Leading projects that adhere to standards and promoting continuous operations improvements
  • Serving as a point of contact during shifts and supporting the team and stakeholders

The ideal candidate will possess a postgraduate degree in finance with 3-5 years of relevant experience, strong interpersonal and organizational skills, and experience building effective business relationships with cross-functional and geographical teams.

Familiarity with fixed income products (rates, bonds, credit, foreign exchange, commodities) is required, along with the ability to adapt to a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
