Job Description

The AWS DevOps Architect plays a pivotal role in driving technological innovation and excellence within an organization.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Infrastructure Strategy: Develop and implement highly scalable, reliable, and fault-tolerant infrastructure solutions using AWS services, ensuring seamless integration with business objectives.
  • Automation and Efficiency: Oversee the maintenance of applications and infrastructure, employing advanced techniques to optimize configurations and resource utilization, thereby enhancing overall operational efficiency.
  • Collaborative Leadership: Work closely with cross-functional teams to define infrastructure requirements, provide expert guidance on best practices, and drive organizational change and improvements.
  • Process Improvement: Spearhead continuous enhancements in the Change Management process to ensure controlled and efficient deployment of changes, minimizing downtime and maximizing productivity.
  • CI/CD Development: Architect and manage robust CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, improving application deployment and release management processes, ensuring rapid and reliable delivery of high-quality software.
  • Monitoring and Performance Tuning: Build and manage monitoring tools like CloudWatch, Prometheus, Grafana, or ELK Stack. Implement robust logging and alerting systems to proactively identify and resolve issues, and regularly perform performance tuning and resource optimization.
  • Security Compliance: Conduct regular security audits and assessments of systems and the underlying infrastructure to identify vulnerabilities and enforce security best practices, ensuring compliance with industry standards.
  • Knowledge Management: Document and maintain up-to-date records of infrastructure configurations and changes, facilitating knowledge sharing and collaboration among team members.
  • Stakeholder Communication: Provide comprehensive status updates; effectively communicate project progress and operational metrics to stakeholders, promoting transparency and trust.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance software development and deployment processes, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives and fostering a culture of innovation.
  • Industry Trends: Stay informed about industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in DevOps, SRE, and cloud environments, applying this knowledge to enhance team capabilities and drive business growth.
