As a seasoned e-commerce developer, we are seeking a skilled professional to lead the development of innovative Shopify solutions. This critical role is essential in driving strategic growth initiatives, including conversion rate optimization (CRO), subscription product innovation, and site performance enhancements.

The ideal candidate will:

  • Design and implement alternative product templates, customized landing pages, and dynamic user flows tailored to traffic sources and referral campaigns.
  • These templates may involve custom logic for free gifts, upsells, and personalized experiences.
  • Collaborate closely with marketing, product, and design teams to ensure alignment with business objectives.
  • Contribute to A/B testing implementation, day-to-day maintenance, bug fixes, quality assurance, and ongoing performance optimization.
  • Focus on mobile-first development, clean code practices, and version control using Git.

Our subscription infrastructure includes a hybrid setup leveraging both Shopify native subscriptions and Recharge-based subscriptions, often within the same purchasing flows.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • 5+ years of experience in Shopify theme and app development.
  • Expertise in Shopify Liquid and building custom dynamic templates based on user source, intent, or campaign logic.
  • Proficiency in Shopify APIs (Storefront API, Admin API), GraphQL, and custom app development.
  • Experience in developing both Shopify native and Recharge-based subscriptions, including hybrid flows and gift logic.
  • Deep understanding of Shopify Metafields for scalable content structures.
  • Strong skills in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, with a mobile-first approach and focus on responsive, high-performance interfaces.
  • Hands-on experience using Git and working in version-controlled environments.
  • Excellent debugging, QA, and performance optimization skills.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication abilities with experience in cross-functional teams.
