Key Job Responsibilities

The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing the legal proceedings across various domains in India. This involves managing consultant contracts, drafting and vetting legal documents, liaising with government offices, and coordinating with legal counsel.

Responsibilities:
  • Manage diverse legal proceedings on behalf of the company, including Civil, Criminal, Consumer, Arbitration, Intellectual Property Rights, and other related cases.
  • Coordinate with the panel of lawyers to ensure all legal documents are legally sound and aligned with company objectives.
  • Oversee the management of all Consultant Contracts, ensuring compliance and proper execution.
  • Handle liaisoning correspondence with Government Offices, fostering effective communication and compliance.
Required Skills and Qualifications

A law degree (LLB or equivalent) is required. The ideal candidate should have proven experience in a legal role, preferably within a corporate environment with pan-India exposure.

  • Proven experience in initiating and defending diverse legal proceedings (Civil, Criminal, Consumer, Arbitration, IPR, etc.).
  • Expertise in handling day-to-day court cases.
  • Strong capabilities in drafting and vetting legal documents (MOA, MOU, Bank Guarantees, Indemnity Bonds, Undertakings, Authority Letters, Vendor Agreements).
  • Excellent skills in coordination and briefing/discussion with lawyers and negotiating advocate fees.
