About the Role

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a skilled P2P Vendor Query & Recon Associate to join our Finance Operations team at NielsenIQ. In this crucial role, you will play a key part in leading and executing the day-to-day operations of the accounts payable payment processing functions, focusing on handling L2 queries & AP reconciliations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Inquiry Resolution: Efficiently resolve AP inquiries and issues, providing expert support and troubleshooting to ensure quick resolution.
  • Service Management: Monitor and manage the flow of tickets within the Service Management ecosystem, prioritizing and escalating issues as necessary.
  • Customer Service: Deliver exceptional customer service to internal and external stakeholders, maintaining professionalism, empathy, and effective communication throughout the resolution process.
  • Process Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvement within the AP inquiry support function, contributing to initiatives that enhance service delivery and operational efficiency.
  • Compliance and Documentation: Ensure all inquiries and resolutions comply with company policies and procedures, maintaining accurate documentation for audit and training purposes.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with other finance and operation teams, including the AP team to address complex inquiries, fostering a collaborative approach to problem-solving.
  • KPI Reporting: Help track and publish metrics and KPIs around SLAs related to the timeliness of responses to tickets and follow-up on case management requests.
  • Review accruals to ensure accurate recording of expenses and revenues, maintaining compliance with accounting standards.
  • Performing GRIR reconciliation and following business contacts for resolving open items.
  • Operation of all controls in relation to general ledger, including balance sheet reconciliations related to AP area.
  • Managing supplier queries to ensure that they are resolved timely & efficiently.

About You

We are seeking an experienced and skilled professional with a Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field. A minimum of 2-5 years of experience in Finance Shared Services or a similar support role within a global organization is required. Technical proficiency in SAP, ERP systems, and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel, is essential. Strong analytical abilities to interpret financial data and manage financial records are also required.

What We Offer

We offer an estimated salary of $65,000 - $85,000 per annum, depending on location and experience.
