Job Summary:

This role is focused on leading the analytics pillar within the corporate finance team, collaborating closely with senior stakeholders to develop and drive financial strategies and new insights.

  • Partner with teams in corporate finance, business finance, and controllership to stitch together key data points, draw out meaningful insights, and drive new analyses around P&L, balance sheet, sales metrics, cash, etc.

  • Develop strong storytelling and executive presence skills, thinking creatively to achieve this goal.

  • Serve as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) in Finance Planning and Analytics/management reporting.

  • Prepare and review Operating Plans/budgets, forecasts, and outlooks.

  • Create Management Information System (MIS) reports, revenue and cost analysis, variance analysis, with detailed commentary and analysis.

  • Analyze business performance, provide stakeholders with valuable insights, and visibility on business performance on a regular basis.

  • Generate actionable insights into business performance to help drive improved financial results and facilitate fact-based decision making.

  • Drive discussions with senior stakeholders to extract insights, understand business operations, act as a fact-based challenger, and build a clear narrative.

  • Build scenarios, conduct competition analysis, what-if analysis to understand the financial impacts of various operational decisions.

Key Skills and Qualifications:

  • Certified Chartered Accountant, Cost Accountant, Chartered Financial Analyst, or an MBA

  • Strong communication skills, confident, and commercially savvy

  • Great storyteller with executive presence

  • Attention to detail, team collaboration skills, and proficiency with tools like Power BI/Excel/macros
