Job Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Financial Planning Strategist to drive high-impact financial planning, forecasting solutions and optimize business processes.

As a key member of our team, you will help improve the organization's financial planning process using advanced tools like TM1, PAW, and PAX.

Key Responsibilities include:

  • Developing and executing financial planning and forecasting models using IBM Cognos TM1 and related tools.
  • Analyzing and interpreting financial data to assist with strategic decision-making and provide insights into financial performance.
  • Designing, building, and deploying IBM Planning Analytics (TM1) models and solutions, including implementing TI processes, Rules, and Web Sheets to automate and streamline financial planning processes.
  • Developing and managing PAW reports and dashboards, ensuring they are user-friendly and effectively meet business needs.
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to build comprehensive forecasting models that align with business goals.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Deep technical expertise in IBM Cognos TM1, with a focus on PAX and PAW.
  • Strong knowledge in financial reporting, forecasting, and data analysis.
  • Extensive experience with TI processes, Rules, and Web Sheets, as well as expertise in automating financial workflows within the IBM Cognos TM1 environment.
  • Experience in Excel-based financial reporting using PAX is essential, as well as the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand and meet business requirements.
  • Strong problem-solving and data integrity skills are necessary for this position, as is the ability to manage complex financial models.
  • Experience in optimizing financial systems and processes, with a strong focus on automation and process improvements.
  • A background in the finance domain is preferred, with a focus on budgeting, reporting, and forecasting.
  • BE/BTech or equivalent qualifications are required for this role, along with excellent communication skills to convey complex financial data to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
