Job Overview

The Helpdesk Technician is responsible for delivering prompt and effective assistance to resolve technical issues and support requests. Your primary responsibility will be to provide remote technical support via phone, email, or chat, addressing a wide range of IT-related issues.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Troubleshoot hardware and software issues, network connectivity problems, and system configurations.
  • Provide efficient communication with clients, ensuring they are informed about available options and progress on resolving their issues.
  • Analyze and resolve complex IT business needs presented through tickets, recommending effective technical solutions.
  • Prioritize tasks based on their impact on business operations, taking urgent action to minimize downtime during high-severity incidents.

About the Role

We're seeking a skilled Helpdesk Technician to join our team. As a Helpdesk Technician, you will play a vital role in ensuring our clients' IT systems operate smoothly and efficiently. You will be responsible for providing remote technical support, troubleshooting IT-related issues, and communicating effectively with clients.

Requirements

  • At least 2-3 years of relevant experience in a related field, preferably in a Managed Services Provider (MSP) environment, professional services, and/or industry.
  • Microsoft certification (e.g., Microsoft Certified Solutions Associate (MCSA) or Microsoft Certified: Modern Desktop Administrator Associate) is preferred.
  • A relevant Fortinet NSE certification is preferred.
