Job Description:
This role will oversee all financial operations, including planning, implementation, management, and control of accounts and finance activities across various geographies. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in US GAAP, India GAAP, and IFRS, as well as expertise in finance compliances and tax laws.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Manage daily accounting operations, including month-end and year-end processes, accounts payable and receivable, cash receipts, general ledger, payroll, and utilities.
2. Develop and analyze financial records, statements, business projections, cost analysis, and provide valuable insights.
3. Establish accounting operational strategies by evaluating trends, setting critical measurements, productivity, and customer-service strategies, designing systems, accumulating resources, resolving problems, and implementing change.
4. Ensure compliance with internal accounting manuals, standards, controls, and procedures to maintain accuracy and comprehensiveness of accounts and reporting.
5. Liaise with auditors, consultants, and other functions for smooth operations across all geographies.
6. Reconcile balance sheets to ensure account balances are supported by appropriate documentation according to standard operating procedures.
7. Maintain accurate profit and loss statements (P&L) by properly matching costs to revenue and recording costs in the correct accounts.
8. Lead and manage indirect tax and direct tax, including TDS, GST, advance tax, and DTA, ensuring timely completion of tax returns and compliance with regulations.

Requirements:
1. Chartered Accountant (CA) or equivalent certification/diploma
2. Minimum 8-15 years of experience in managing and handling accounts with extensive knowledge of financial operations and internal/external audits
3. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
4. Excellent organizational and leadership skills
5. Ability to foresee, handle issues culminating into fraud, misappropriations, and financial bungling, including experience in surveillance, detection, and forensic audit
6. Critical thinking and analysis
7. Tenacity and ethics
8. Proficiency in using ERP and advanced financial tools/systems
