Financial Leadership Position

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Senior Finance Manager to join our leadership team. The successful candidate will play a critical role in shaping financial strategy, driving business growth, and ensuring compliance with UK GAAP/IFRS.

About the Role

The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in financial planning, compliance, risk management, and stakeholder engagement. Key responsibilities include:

  • Leading financial planning, forecasting, and budgeting for client portfolios.
  • Partnering with senior stakeholders to align financial strategies with business goals.
  • Providing actionable insights on revenue growth, profitability, and cost optimization.

Compliance and Risk Management

  • Ensuring full compliance with UK GAAP/IFRS and regulatory frameworks.
  • Overseeing audits, statutory filings, tax planning, and reporting accuracy.
  • Monitoring financial risk and recommending mitigation strategies.

Business Partnering and Stakeholder Engagement

  • Collaborating with the leadership team, investors, and external auditors.
  • Acting as a trusted advisor, presenting financial performance updates to the board.
  • Building relationships across departments to support operational efficiency.

Operational Finance Oversight

  • Managing accounts payable, receivable, payroll, and working capital effectively.
  • Leading monthly/quarterly closing processes and consolidation reporting.
  • Overseeing treasury management, cash flow forecasting, and investment analysis.

Technology and Automation

  • Driving adoption of finance technology tools (Xero, Dext, Power BI).
  • Implementing automation initiatives to streamline financial reporting and compliance.
  • Leveraging analytics to provide real-time dashboards and performance tracking.

Team Leadership and Development

  • Mentoring and leading a distributed finance team.
  • Fostering a culture of excellence, innovation, and continuous learning.
  • Building scalable finance processes to support future business growth.

Requirements

  • CA, ACCA, CPA, or equivalent qualification.
  • 7–10 years of experience in finance, with at least 3 years in a managerial role.
  • Strong knowledge of UK accounting practices, GAAP/IFRS compliance, and taxation.
  • Proven experience in Fintech, Financial Services, or Consulting preferred.
  • Hands-on expertise with Xero, Dext, Power BI.
  • Strong financial modeling, budgeting, forecasting, and analytical skills.
  • Exceptional leadership, communication, and stakeholder management abilities.
  • Ability to thrive in a remote-first, global environment.

Work Schedule: Monday – Friday (UK time-zone collaboration required)

Salary: ₹16-18 lakhs per annum + Comprehensive medical insurance + Fully remote work environment.
