Cloud Engineer Lead Role

This role is focused on leading the development and implementation of cloud infrastructure across multiple platforms, including Azure, AWS, and GCP environments.

  • Lead the design and deployment of cloud infrastructure in Azure, AWS, and GCP environments
  • Architect and implement scalable solutions using modern DevOps practices
  • Develop and maintain infrastructure as code using tools like Terraform, Azure ARM templates, and AWS CloudFormations
  • Implement and manage containerized workloads using AKS and EKS
  • Establish and enforce cloud security standards and best practices across environments
  • Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions for automated deployments
  • Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers

To be successful in this role, you must have strong hands-on experience with Azure, as well as working knowledge of AWS and GCP platforms. Proficiency with Kubernetes orchestration, particularly AKS, with knowledge of EKS is also required. Additionally, experience with Karpenter, ArgoCD, and Istio in container environments is highly desirable.

Requirements:
  • 8+ years of experience in cloud engineering/architecture roles
  • Strong hands-on experience with Azure, plus working knowledge of AWS and GCP platforms
  • Proficiency with Kubernetes orchestration, particularly AKS, with knowledge of EKS
  • Experience with Karpenter, ArgoCD, and Istio in container environments
  • Demonstrated expertise in cloud security principles and implementations
  • Advanced knowledge of cloud networking concepts and solutions
  • Proficiency with GitHub and GitHub Actions for CI/CD workflows
  • Experience with infrastructure as code tools
  • Self-driven work ethic with ability to manage complex projects independently
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills

Preferred qualifications include Azure certifications, experience with Azure governance and compliance frameworks, knowledge of hybrid cloud architectures, background in supporting enterprise-scale applications, and experience with Azure monitoring and observability tools.
