Job Title: Team Manager - Compliance Operations

About the Role:

The ideal candidate will have at least 6-9 years of experience in the banking and financial services industry, with a strong understanding of KYC principles for institutional clients. They should be proficient in Microsoft Office Suite software, particularly Excel, and have advanced skills in PowerPoint and Access.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Perform day-to-day management of the team, prioritizing tasks, monitoring progress, and updating stakeholders.
  • Act as a Checker for assigned processes, ensuring timely completion at agreed SLAs with good quality.
  • Manage the KYC book of work by consolidating data, prioritizing requests from various stakeholders, and collaborating with onshore teams.
  • Liaise with departments and internal stakeholders to create collaborative work relationships, understand their data requirements, propose solutions, and advocate team values.
Requirements:
  • Minimum 6-9 years of post-qualification relevant work experience within Banking and Financial Services industry.
  • 4 years of team handling experience, preferably with data management.
  • Experience in KYC Onboarding renewals handling Oceania Market, Global project and change management experience in Banking or Risk or Compliance domain are preferred.

This role includes daily production workflow, subject matter expertise on Onboarding KYC, coordinating with internal partners, initiating and completing high-quality KYC files, and maintaining detailed tracking of KYC file status and other customer record activities.
