About the Role

This is a highly skilled position that requires strategic thinking and analytical expertise.

The Pricing Analytics team plays a pivotal role in defining and optimizing pricing strategies across various product categories, leveraging advanced analytics to forecast and measure the impact of pricing actions.

The successful candidate will be responsible for developing strategic price test designs, data-driven price change recommendations, and ad-hoc work supporting Lowe's pricing efforts.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Providing cluster-specific data analytics and insights to support business decisions
  • Designing and developing statistical approaches and models for specific business problems
  • Gathering, exploring, structuring, enriching, and cleaning large datasets from internal and external sources
  • Developing scalable retail test processes and frameworks for experiment design and assessment
  • Analyzing competitor demographics and performance for pricing across key categories
Requirements
  • 3-6 years of relevant experience in analytics or a related field
Skill Set Required
  • Bachelor's degree in business, engineering, statistics, economics, or a quantitative discipline plus 3+ years' experience in an analytical role
  • Experience in data mining and visualization tools such as Power BI, Excel, GCP, and SQL (ETL)
  • Strong analytical skills with ability to accumulate, evaluate, and generate insights from disparate data sources
  • Story building with data - Presentations that depict results in a way that can be shared across levels & actionable insights
