Marketing Business Development Executive

Scribble Scrolls is a content-first digital marketing agency that helps brands grow through powerful storytelling, strategy, and execution.

We've worked with renowned brands and collaborated with top creators. Our services include social media management, podcast enablement, video production, and digital brand strategy.

We are now looking for a Marketing & Business Development Executive to expand our client base, drive outreach, and convert prospects into long-term clients.

Role Overview

This role is ideal for someone who is ambitious, energetic, and thrives in a fast-paced, creative environment. You will be the driving force behind our growth.

Your primary goal will be to generate new business opportunities through targeted outreach, build relationships with potential clients, and convert them into paying customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead Generation & Outreach (40%): Research and identify potential clients, drive outreach via LinkedIn, networking events, and professional communities, execute cold email campaigns, follow-ups, and calls to engage decision-makers, and maintain a healthy pipeline of quality leads using CRM tools.
  • Client Acquisition (40%): Understand client needs, present our offerings with clarity and impact, conduct discovery calls and meetings to propose tailored solutions, negotiate pricing, finalize service packages, and close deals to meet monthly revenue targets, and build strong, trust-based relationships with key stakeholders.
  • Collaboration & Reporting (20%): Work closely with the creative and strategy teams to craft effective pitches and proposals, monitor outreach effectiveness and optimize strategies for higher conversion, and prepare weekly reports on leads, conversions, and revenue growth.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 1-3 years of experience in sales, business development, or client acquisition (agency background preferred).
Core Skills
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills (written & verbal).
  • Proficiency in LinkedIn Sales Navigator, CRM tools, and MS Office/Google Workspace.
  • Strong negotiation and deal-closing abilities.
  • Awareness of digital marketing platforms and trends (Instagram, YouTube, LinkedIn, etc.).
Performance Metrics (KPIs)
  • Number of qualified leads generated each month.
  • Client conversion rate and closed deals.
  • Revenue growth from new accounts.
  • Client satisfaction and long-term retention.
