Job Title: Payroll Operations SpecialistJob Summary:

The Payroll Operations Specialist is responsible for ensuring accurate and timely payroll processing, statutory compliance with labor regulations, and payroll reporting. This role requires strong analytical and problem-solving skills to manage complex payroll processes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Process monthly payroll accurately and efficiently
  • Validate inputs such as attendance, leave records, new joiners, exits, salary revisions, and variable pay
  • E nsure full compliance with PF, ESI, PT, TDS, gratuity and other applicable labor laws
  • Analyze payroll data to identify trends and optimize processes
  • Prepare payroll reports and analytics for management review

Requirements:

  • Graduate/Postgraduate in Commerce, Finance, or HR
  • Experience: 7-10 years of payroll management experience (India payroll)

Technical Skills:

  • Strong knowledge of payroll systems (SAP, ADP etc.)
  • Proficiency in MS Excel (advanced formulas, reconciliations)
  • Knowledge of income tax and statutory compliance

Behavioural Skills:

  • High attention to detail and accuracy
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information

This role requires a graduate/postgraduate degree in commerce, finance, or human resources. A minimum of 7-10 years of experience in payroll management, particularly in India payroll, is necessary.

A strong understanding of payroll systems, including SAP and ADP, is essential. Proficiency in MS Excel, particularly advanced formulas and reconciliations, is also required.
