Hiring for a Mechanical Aircraft Propulsion Systems Architect - Nacelle Position.

We are seeking a professional with expertise in nacelle design, development, and testing to join our team.

Key Requirements:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Aerospace, Mechanical, or Systems Engineering
  • Minimum of 5–10 years of experience in aerospace systems engineering, focusing on nacelle systems
  • Strong knowledge of nacelle systems, including inlets, fan cowls, thrust reversers, and exhausts
  • In-depth understanding of aviation regulatory requirements (FAA, EASA) and certification processes
  • Proficiency with engineering software such as CATIA, ANSYS, and MATLAB/Simulink

Responsibilities:

System Requirements:

  • Define, decompose, and manage system-level requirements for nacelles, including inlets, fan cowls, thrust reversers, and exhausts

Design and Development:

  • Serve as responsible engineer for nacelle systems, overseeing conceptual and detailed design, and managing integration with the engine and aircraft
  • Ensure configuration management throughout the product lifecycle
  • Develop and manage testing and validation plans for nacelle components and systems
  • Interpret and analyze test data to verify system performance and compliance
  • Conduct design trade-off studies to optimize system performance, reliability, and cost
