Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled BIM Technician to join our team. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in shaping the future of our communities and environments.

  • Production of watermains, piping layouts, profile drawings as per BIM / CAD standards
  • Preparation of drawings including conceptual sketches and detailed construction drawings using Autodesk Civil 3D software (pipe networks, profiles, alignments, assemblies & sub-assemblies, 3D Feature Lines and Grading Groups) with quality and accuracy under high-level guidance
  • Preparation of Revit MEP, HVAC, Electrical models
  • Ensuring compliance with drafting standards and Quality requirements
  • Completing BIM / CAD tasks as directed by the Senior BIM / CAD Technician or CAD Coordinator or Engineers
  • Adhering to training requirements and staying abreast in Drafting skills
  • Working in different standards, requirements, and preparing engineering drawings to specified standards
  • Drafting / Modelling assistance to engineers and technologists in completing road/parking lot, storm and sanitary sewer, water main, and grading drawings, 3D Modelling Works
  • Other duties as assigned like QAQC Compliance
Key Responsibilities
  1. Produce accurate and efficient watermain, piping layouts, and profile drawings according to BIM/CAD standards
  2. Prepare high-quality drawings, including conceptual sketches and detailed construction drawings, using Autodesk Civil 3D software
  3. Develop and maintain Revit MEP, HVAC, and Electrical models
  4. Ensure adherence to drafting standards, quality requirements, and client expectations
  5. Collaborate with senior technicians, coordinators, and engineers to complete BIM/CAD tasks
  6. Stay up-to-date with industry developments, best practices, and training requirements
  7. Work effectively in various standards, requirements, and drawing specifications
  8. Provide modeling support to engineers and technologists on road, parking lot, storm, sanitary sewer, watermain, and grading projects
  9. Perform other duties as assigned, including QAQC compliance checks
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer-Aided Design (CAD), Building Information Modeling (BIM), or related field
  • Proficiency in Autodesk Civil 3D, Revit MEP, HVAC, and Electrical software
  • Strong understanding of BIM/CAD principles, standards, and best practices
  • Excellent communication, teamwork, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work accurately and efficiently under tight deadlines
