Job Title: Cloud Infrastructure Specialist.

We are seeking a skilled Cloud Infrastructure Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in designing, deploying, and maintaining cloud infrastructure using OpenStack technologies.

As a Cloud Infrastructure Specialist, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our cloud infrastructure, collaborating with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements, and developing scalable and reliable solutions.

Key Responsibilities:
• Deploy, configure, and manage OpenStack environments using Kolla-Ansible and TripleO
• Design, deploy, and maintain Ceph storage clusters, ensuring high availability and optimal performance
• Manage block storage (Cinder), file storage (Manila), and object storage (such as Ceph RGW/S3, Swift, or equivalent)
• Maintain and optimize OpenStack control plane and compute resources for performance, scalability, and reliability
• Manage and troubleshoot containerized applications using Docker and orchestration platforms such as Kubernetes or OpenShift
• Develop and maintain automation scripts and playbooks using Ansible for infrastructure provisioning and configuration management
• Integrate OpenStack environments with monitoring, logging, and alerting tools
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement cloud-native solutions
• Participate in CI/CD pipelines for infrastructure changes and application deployments
• Maintain comprehensive documentation for infrastructure designs, configurations, and operational procedures
• Support capacity planning, incident management, and root cause analysis for infrastructure-related issues

Requirements:
• 7–10 years of hands-on OpenStack experience, including deployment, configuration, and troubleshooting
• Proven experience deploying OpenStack using Kolla-Ansible (container-based deployment) and TripleO (bare-metal deployment)
• Relevant 3–5 years of experience with containerization technologies, primarily Docker
• Relevant 2–3 years of experience with Kubernetes and/or OpenShift administration
• Proficiency in Ceph storage setup and management for block, file, and object storage (S3, Swift, or equivalent)
• Strong proficiency in Ansible for automation and configuration management
• Solid understanding of Linux systems administration (preferably RHEL/CentOS/Ubuntu)
• Knowledge of networking concepts relevant to cloud environments (VLANs, VXLANs, routing, firewalls, load balancing)
• Familiarity with Git and collaborative development workflows
• RHCE certified

Preferred Skills:
• Experience with monitoring and observability tools: Prometheus, Grafana, Kibana
• Exposure to CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices
• Familiarity with scripting languages such as Python and Bash
• Understanding of cloud security best practices

Education:
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience
