At 2086 DXC Technology India Private Limited, we are seeking a highly skilled Senior Payroll Operations Specialist to join our team. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth execution of payroll operations and providing exceptional support to employees.

About the Role

  • The Senior Payroll Operations Specialist will be responsible for performing regular payroll project implementation activities, including fundamental payroll validations, ensuring deductions are made as per statutory compliance, and initiating statutory payments before the due date.
  • They will also assist the department in understanding and completing statutory changes made by the Government, collaborate with payroll team members for smooth month-end closure, and handle employee queries and provide timely resolutions.
  • In addition, the Senior Payroll Operations Specialist will analyze and prepare various payroll audit reports, perform independent internal audits on all payroll activities, complete payroll audit activities within stipulated timelines, and ensure audit evidence is saved in shared folders.
  • They will also coordinate with Internal Audit teams during quarterly/yearly audits, validate and approve evidence shared with external and SOX auditors, and develop internal audit reports and drive process improvement initiatives.
  • Furthermore, the Senior Payroll Operations Specialist will prepare, analyze, and publish monthly audit reports, maintain the integrity of accounting and budgeting software systems by checking for errors and inconsistencies.

Requirements

  • A Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience, preferably in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
  • Strong knowledge in Payroll transition, Payroll Operations, Accounting, and Taxation matters, as well as experience working with ADP, SAP - GHR, and Workday.
  • At least 6-9 years of experience in Payroll and related accounting, with 2-3 years of hands-on experience in payroll transition - project coordination from the Payroll side.
  • Excellent communication skills to interact with employees and senior management, good interpersonal skills for communicating with other departments, and good planning and organizational skills to balance and prioritize work.
