Job Description

  • Oversee the overall performance of iron ore processing and steel manufacturing operations, ensuring seamless coordination between various units including sinter plant, blast furnace, corex, steel melting plant, and vacuum degassing units.
  • Lead planning, operations, ladle management, quality control, safety protocols, and breakdown management for EOF, LRF, VD, and CCM as senior shift in-charge.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and external agencies to resolve operational issues and ensure smooth production.
  • Develop technical documentation for various alloy steel grades.
  • Coordinate shutdown activities of steel melt shop with multiple departments.
  • Manage project lifecycle from initiation to completion: monitoring, execution, erection, commissioning, start-up, and production.
  • Handle production planning, quality assurance, profitability analysis, budgeting, and cost optimization.
  • Plan manpower, training, capital expenditures, fixed costs, and variable costs for iron zone projects.
