Job Description

  • We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Highway Design Engineer to join our team in Mumbai/Noida/Bengaluru.
  • The successful candidate will work alongside our UK discipline, developing and delivering projects through various stages of design from feasibility to planning/detailed design and onto construction.
  • You will be responsible for working on a range of highways schemes, supporting the lead design engineer or work package manager to develop design solutions in accordance with relevant standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and develop highway schemes, ensuring they meet relevant standards and regulations.
  • Work closely with the UK project team to deliver schemes/projects.
  • Contribute to all types of projects, using AutoCAD and other design software for production and development of designs and drawings.
  • Read and adhere to all relevant policies and procedures for Health and Safety.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Bachelor's or post-graduate degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent.
  • Minimum 3+ years post-graduate experience in highway design.
  • Working knowledge of relevant design standards, including the Design Manual for Roads and Bridges (DMRB) and Manual of Contract Documents for Highway Works (MCDHW).
  • Proficient in use of standard office software, including AutoCAD and ProjectWise.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
