Senior Android Developer Position

We are seeking a seasoned Senior Android Developer to join our team at Collabdiary, a leading influencer marketing company based in Mumbai and Bangalore. As a key member of our dynamic team, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining high-quality Android applications that meet the needs of our clients and users.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and develop cutting-edge Android applications using Java and Kotlin programming languages.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including UI/UX designers, backend developers, and QA testers, to ensure seamless integration and delivery of applications.
  • Implement and maintain robust Android architectures, including MVVM, MVP, Clean Architecture, and Repository Patterns.
  • Utilize Jetpack components, such as LiveData, ViewModel, Navigation, DataBinding, and others, to build efficient and scalable applications.
  • Conduct thorough testing and debugging of applications using JUnit, Espresso, and Robolectric, and ensure seamless integration with Crashlytics or Firebase Analytics.
  • Optimize application performance, memory, and battery usage, and utilize profiling tools for memory, battery, and network optimization.
  • Integrate third-party APIs, SDKs, and external services, and ensure secure and reliable data transmission using RESTful APIs, GraphQL, JSON parsing, and WebSockets.
  • Manage and maintain databases, including SQLite, Room Database, and real-time databases like Firebase Firestore, and implement caching and local data storage.
  • Implement Firebase Cloud Messaging (FCM) and Push Notifications, and ensure smooth backend integration with services like AWS, Google Cloud, and Firebase.
  • Manage and maintain applications on Google Play Console, including releases, app signing, and user reviews, and ensure seamless app update and hotfix deployment.
Requirements:
  • 7-10 years of experience in Android development.
  • Proficiency in Java and Kotlin programming languages.
  • Strong understanding of Android SDK, APIs, and core components.
  • Hands-on experience with UI/UX design principles, Android layouts, themes, and styles.
  • Experience with Material Design and creating intuitive user interfaces.
  • Expertise in MVVM, MVP, Clean Architecture, and Repository Patterns.
  • Deep understanding of Jetpack components, including LiveData, ViewModel, Navigation, DataBinding, and others.
  • Experience with Git for version control and collaboration.
  • Proficient in using JUnit, Espresso, and Robolectric for unit and integration testing.
  • Expertise in Crashlytics or Firebase Analytics for monitoring app crashes and performance.
  • Experience in optimizing apps for memory, battery usage, and smooth performance.
  • Use of Profiling tools for memory, battery, and network optimization.
  • Experience with integrating third-party APIs, SDKs, and external services.
  • Proficiency in RESTful APIs, GraphQL, JSON parsing, and WebSockets.
