Programme Coordinator Role


Young Bihar Movement is a professionally governed registered trust that is committed to the YBM’s efforts to raise the aspirations and attainment of young people who believe that a better Bihar is possible in their lifetime.


The trust is seeking a Programme Coordinator to provide specialized administrative support in the development, implementation, and marketing of programmes and projects. The postholder will be a key member of the Young Bihar team, working closely with the Chief Operating Officer and reporting to the Senior Programme Manager.


The ideal candidate should be educated to a master’s degree or equivalent with Social Policy, Social Development, Social Work, and Rural Development as one of the subjects. They should have considerable experience of working in a similar role, including researching on relevant topics and managing teams and projects. The candidate should possess outstanding communication, liaison, and organizational skills and be able to work creatively and strategically across an institution.


The Programme Coordinator will be responsible for providing administrative support in the development and implementation of programmes and projects, including researching on relevant topics and managing teams and projects. They will work closely with the Chief Operating Officer and report to the Senior Programme Manager.


The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work on a range of projects and programmes, including research and development, project management, and marketing. They will also have the opportunity to contribute to the development of the Young Bihar team and help shape the organisation’s strategy and direction.


The Programme Coordinator will be based in Bihar and will be required to work closely with the Young Bihar team and other stakeholders. They will be responsible for providing high-quality administrative support and contributing to the development of the organisation’s programmes and projects.

Key Responsibilities



  2. Provide administrative support in the development and implementation of programmes and projects.
  3. Research and develop project proposals and business plans.
  4. Manage teams and projects, including coordinating with stakeholders and monitoring progress.
  5. Develop and implement marketing strategies to promote programmes and projects.
  6. Contribute to the development of the Young Bihar team and help shape the organisation’s strategy and direction.

Requirements



  2. Master’s degree or equivalent in Social Policy, Social Development, Social Work, and Rural Development.
  3. Considerable experience of working in a similar role, including researching on relevant topics and managing teams and projects.
  4. Outstanding communication, liaison, and organisational skills.
  5. Ability to work creatively and strategically across an institution.
