About the Role

We are seeking a seasoned technical expert to lead our development team in creating innovative software solutions.

  • Strong technical expertise in Java, SAP HANA, UI5/Fiori, HTML5, CSS, and JavaScript is essential.
Key Responsibilities

The ideal candidate will be responsible for:

  • Designing, developing, and maintaining applications using Java, SAP HANA, RDBMS, REST Services, OData Services, UI5/Fiori, HTML5, CSS, and JavaScript.
  • Ensuring adherence to best practices in coding standards, software architecture, and performance optimization.
  • Reviewing technical designs and code, providing constructive feedback to ensure quality and maintainability.
  • Overseeing integration between backend systems (SAP HANA/Java) and frontend applications (UI5/HTML5/CSS/JavaScript).
  • Managing workload distribution, task assignments, and ensuring timely delivery of project milestones.
  • Driving continuous improvement by evaluating emerging technologies and recommending adoption where beneficial.
  • Serving as the technical point of contact for escalations and complex problem solving.
  • Mentoring and coaching junior developers to support their technical and professional growth.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • At least 4 years of hands-on development experience.
  • Strong expertise in:
    • Java (Spring/Spring Boot preferred)
    • SAP HANA (database design, SQL, stored procedures)
    • UI5/Fiori
    • HTML5, CSS, JavaScript (ES6+)
    • System integration with SAP or enterprise applications
  • A solid understanding of the software development life cycle (SDLC), agile methodologies, and DevOps practices.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Nice to Have

The following skills would be advantageous:

  • Exposure to Cloud platforms (SAP BTP).
  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines, Git.
  • Knowledge of modern front-end frameworks (React, Angular, Vue.js).
