Senior Technical Leader

We are seeking a highly experienced and visionary leader to spearhead our engineering efforts. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in e-commerce platforms, modern technologies, and team management skills to deliver scalable, secure, and performant solutions.

The successful candidate will lead the architecture, design, and implementation of e-commerce platforms and solutions. This includes overseeing development efforts for storefronts, back-end systems, and middleware integration. A strong collaborator, this leader will work closely with product management, business stakeholders, and cross-functional teams.

This role requires technical guidance and mentorship to engineering teams. Additionally, the candidate will drive continuous improvement initiatives in architecture, infrastructure, code quality, and team processes. They will also define and enforce best practices for secure, scalable, and maintainable e-commerce architecture.

A strong hands-on experience with React, Next.js, Java, and middleware platforms like Boomi or MuleSoft is required. The candidate must have a proven track record in building and consuming RESTful APIs. Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate across departments are essential.

Required Skills & Experience:

  • 12+ years of overall IT experience, with significant leadership experience.
  • In-depth knowledge of e-commerce platforms and order management systems.
  • Strong technical skills, including programming languages, software development methodologies, and cloud platforms.
  • Proven ability to lead diverse engineering teams.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience working in a consumer-focused or retail/e-commerce environment.
  • Certification in Salesforce Commerce Cloud or MuleSoft.
  • Experience with cloud platforms and Agile/Scrum development methodologies.
