Cloud Data Engineering Lead

We are seeking a seasoned Cloud Data Engineering Lead to spearhead our team in designing and implementing scalable data solutions. The ideal candidate should possess strong technical expertise in ETL, SQL, and cloud technologies.

  • Lead the design and implementation of data engineering solutions using ETL tools such as Informatica PowerCenter and SnapLogic.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and design data models.
  • Develop and maintain large-scale data warehouses and databases using Oracle, Netezza, Snowflake, and Azure SQL.
  • Design and implement data integration pipelines using Cloud & Migration tools like Azure Cloud migration and SaaS-to-Oracle SQL migration.
  • Work closely with leadership to develop and implement methodologies for requirement analysis, test case development, production support, performance tuning, data modeling, and data validation.
  • Provide L2/L3 support, peer reviews, release management, and client communication as part of offshore/onshore team leadership.

Key responsibilities include:

Requirements:
  • 14+ years of experience in data engineering with expertise in ETL, SQL, Oracle, and cloud technologies.
  • Strong understanding of data warehouse & BI tools like DAC, Qlik, and OBIEE.
  • Excellent programming skills in advanced SQL and proficiency in query optimization.
  • Experience with scheduling & automation tools like Automic and Query Surge.
  • Leadership skills with ability to manage and deliver projects on time.
