Animal Health Supplements Formulation and Quality Control Specialist

This role involves developing and optimizing formulations for dog and cat syrups, tonics, and nutraceutical supplements.

  • This will involve designing and optimizing formulations for dogs and cats products.
  • Selecting suitable excipients, preservatives, flavors, and stabilizers that are safe for animals is a key responsibility of this role.
  • The successful candidate will be responsible for leading small-scale batch preparation (mixing, filtration, filling, capping, labeling) for pet health supplements.
  • Maintaining hygiene and cleaning SOPs for pet product manufacturing is an important aspect of this job.
  • BASIC QUALITY CONTROL tests (pH, clarity, taste/palatability, viscosity, appearance) specific to dogs and cats supplements will need to be conducted by the successful candidate.
  • The candidate will also be required to approve/reject incoming raw materials (vitamins, minerals, herbal extracts for pets).
Requirements:
  • A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Pharmacy, Chemistry, Food Technology, Veterinary Science, or Nutraceuticals is essential for this role.
  • The ideal candidate should have 2-5 years experience in pet health supplements / veterinary nutraceuticals / animal syrups or tonic manufacturing.
  • Hands-on experience in both formulation and quality control for dogs and cats products is necessary for success in this position.
