Job Opportunity: VFX Supervisor

We are a renowned animation studio seeking an experienced VFX Supervisor to guide our artists in Animation.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement comprehensive training programs for Autodesk Maya & Blender software, catering to various skill levels.
  • Focus on teaching advanced animation and rigging techniques, including realistic, cartoonish, and stylized styles.
  • Enable Animators & Riggers to enhance individual skills through effective mentoring and guidance.
  • Mentor junior animators and riggers, reviewing their work and providing constructive feedback.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Master animation and rigging using Blender and Maya software, with a strong understanding of animation principles and workflows.
  • Apply flexible problem-solving skills to address animation issues independently of tools.
  • Adaptability is essential, adjusting animation style to suit the project requirements.
  • Strong knowledge of anatomy and deformation of living creatures, as well as mastery of rig creation and animation workflows.
Preferred Qualities:
  • Collaborative and communicative mindset, with excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to assist in designing training assignments and provide regular feedback.
  • Flexibility in hourly/weekly rate, with a minimum commitment of 5-10 hours per week.
