Game Design and Animation Faculty Position

This is an exciting opportunity for a talented professional to join our faculty team as a Game Design and Animation Coordinator.

As a key member of our academic staff, you will play a vital role in shaping the next generation of game designers and animators. Your expertise in game development, animation, and interactive media will be invaluable in developing and teaching core courses in these areas.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Course Development and Delivery: Develop and teach courses in game design, animation, and interactive programming, ensuring that students gain a comprehensive understanding of industry best practices.
  • Mentorship and Industry Links: Mentor students in game development projects and industry-linked internships, providing valuable guidance and support throughout their academic journey.
  • Curriculum Planning and Quality Assurance: Coordinate and oversee curriculum delivery, planning, and quality assurance, ensuring that our programs meet the highest standards of excellence.
  • Collaboration and Leadership: Lead collaborations with industry partners, support faculty development, and organize game jams, showcases, and co-curricular industry events.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in Game Design, Animation, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of relevant academic or industry experience.
  • Strong portfolio of game/interactive projects and/or published work.
  • Excellent communication and team leadership skills.
  • Proficiency in programming languages such as C#, C++, Python, JavaScript.
  • Experience with game engines and tools: Unity, Unreal Engine, Godot, Blender.
  • Understanding of animation workflows, storytelling, and level design.
  • Strong knowledge of gameplay mechanics, UI/UX for games, and interactive media.
