Job Opportunity: Virtual Effects Trainer

We are seeking a skilled and experienced trainer to join our team as a VFX expert. The ideal candidate will have extensive knowledge of Houdini software and experience in teaching or mentoring others.

Job Description:

As a VFX trainer, you will be responsible for providing high-quality training to our artists, focusing on Houdini software training from basic to advanced levels. You will also be expected to provide teaching on RBD Fracture Simulation, Cloth Simulation, Water Simulation, Fire Simulation, Crowd Simulation, Grain Simulation, and Plant Instance Simulation.

The right candidate will have a solid understanding of 3D modeling, lighting, and rendering techniques in Maya or Houdini and excellent leadership and mentoring skills. We value artistic skills with a high attention to detail and enthusiasm and creativity.

Required Skills:

  • Previous experience as a VFX Supervisor for film, animation, or TV series
  • Knowledge of the overall VFX workflow and understanding of the production process
  • Minimum 5 years of experience working with Houdini
  • In-depth knowledge of compositing principles (Nuke preferred)
  • Basic knowledge of the Blender workflow is a plus
  • Portfolio demonstrating excellent skills and creative approach
