Job Description

The Role of a Director of Workforce Optimization involves leading a team that drives solutions and strategies to boost efficiency and employee satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement workforce management strategies that align with business objectives.
  • Utilize historical data and predictive analytics to forecast staffing needs and ensure alignment with client requirements and service level agreements.
  • Collaborate with senior management and clients to create long-term workforce plans that support business growth and scalability.
  • Lead, mentor, and develop a team of workforce analysts and Business Intelligence specialists.
  • Forecast staffing requirements based on historical data and predictive analytics.
  • Establish a culture of continuous improvement and encourage innovation in workforce management practices.
  • Implement and maintain workforce management tools and software to streamline forecasting and scheduling processes.
  • Monitor real-time performance metrics and adjust staffing plans as needed to maintain service levels.
  • Coordinate with operations to manage intra-day staffing adjustments and address any service level deviations.

Qualifications include:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Operations Management, or a related field. Master's degree is preferred.
  • Minimum of 15 years of experience in workforce management, with at least 6 years in a leadership role within a BPO environment.
  • Strong understanding of workforce management tools and software.
  • Proven ability to develop and implement workforce management strategies that align with business goals.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions.
  • Strong leadership and team development skills, with experience managing a diverse workforce management team.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with clients, senior management, and cross-functional teams.
