As a Desktop Support Engineer, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our IT infrastructure. This includes managing and maintaining endpoints, providing support for Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD) infrastructure, and handling user provisioning and issue resolution.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Endpoint Management: Administer Microsoft Intune for endpoint management, ensuring that all devices are properly configured and up-to-date.
  • AVD Support: Provide expert-level support for Azure Virtual Desktop infrastructure, including user provisioning and issue resolution.
  • Incident Management: Manage incident and service request management processes to ensure timely resolution of user issues and requests.
  • Proactive Monitoring: Utilize Nexthink for proactive monitoring, troubleshooting, and incident resolution.
  • User Account Management: Administer user accounts in Active Directory, including adding/removing users from groups and managing calendar access and delegation.
  • Onboarding/Offboarding: Facilitate consultant onboarding/offboarding processes, including provisioning/deprovisioning access to necessary resources.
  • Collaboration Tools: Manage access to collaboration tools like Microsoft Teams, including adding/removing users from channels and distribution lists.
  • Phishing Response: Monitor and respond to phishing email incidents, providing guidance and support to users as needed.
  • Software Installation: Perform remote software installations and configurations to ensure users have access to required applications.
  • Password Management: Reset passwords and unlock user accounts as per established security protocols.
  • Video Conferencing: Assist with setting up and troubleshooting Zoom meetings and other video conferencing solutions.
  • Network Connectivity: Address Zscaler/network connectivity issues and provide resolution to ensure uninterrupted access to network resources.
  • File Sharing: Provide support for external file sharing platforms such as ShareFile and Teams channels.
  • Bitlocker: Assist users with unlocking Bitlocker screens and resolving related issues.
  • Network Drives/Printers: Configure and map network drives and printers for users as needed.
  • Mobile Devices: Provide support for mobile devices, including unlocking iPhones and troubleshooting connectivity issues.
