About the Role:

This role is part of a global capability centre / centre of excellence to provide support services across various functions such as IT, KYC/ AML, Credit, Operations etc.

We manage credit analysis function for corporate clients globally through a credit analysis team.

The team works closely with bankers, product partners and credit approvers to promote optimal risk / return on lending opportunities.

As a credit analyst, you will perform forward looking fundamental credit analysis on borrowers, annual reviews and limit renewals, support on ad-hoc requests and periodic reviews when necessary.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Manage portfolio of EMEA Corporate clients and undertake objective detailed due diligence of borrowers / industry.
  • Managing end to end annual renewal of limits and borrower ratings as per banks' credit processes and procedures collaborating with other stakeholders.
  • Covenant checks and periodic monitoring reports.
  • Preparation of periodic sector reports and event-based stress tests of the portfolio as necessary.
  • Support Relationship Managers / Senior Credit Analysts in department on ad-hoc requests related to new transactions or other portfolio reviews.
  • Audit management – Internal, External including regulatory inspections

Candidate Profile:

  • Extensive experience in fundamental corporate analysis gained in either a bank (or their Global Capability Centre), asset manager or rating agency environment.
  • There should be an emphasis on credit analysis in context of a transaction or event, or a strong motivation to move into a more transaction driven environment.
  • Minimum experience of 7-8 years after Post Graduation (CA / CFA / MBA Finance or their equivalents)

Functional / Technical Competencies:

  • Experience of covering EMEA Large Corporates.
  • A good understanding of loan documentation and key credit protections.
  • Understanding of market risk and ISDA documents would be preferred/ beneficial.
  • Familiarity with Bloomberg / CapIQ and similar systems.
