Purpose of this role is to optimize inventory levels, ensuring timely supply of finished goods and maximize operational efficiency to meet customer demands by driving following deliverables:

  • Demand Planning

Create accurate demand plans based on forecasts from all sales channels and drive forecast accuracy within the organization. Coordinate with cross-functional teams to resolve significant variances.

  • Supply Planning & New Product Development

Lead production planning for existing products, new products, and product phase-outs. Ensure timely launch of new products and roll out new launches on time by optimizing the network.

  • Inventory and Service Management

Develop an inventory management strategy across different locations based on inventory models. Optimize inventory while ensuring service levels are met as per defined standards.

Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure inventory and service norms are met. Ensure minimal stockouts and optimal stock levels by coordinating with stakeholders.

This role requires analytical skills, problem-solving skills, and excellent team working skills. Experience with WMS/ERP/SAP-MM systems is essential. An engineering graduate with a master's degree is preferred, along with experience working in a plant or lean/six sigma certification.
