Resource Management Specialist

As a key member of our team, the Resource Management Specialist plays a critical role in ensuring the optimal allocation and utilization of resources across multiple projects and departments.

This includes monitoring resource availability, forecasting demand, and resolving conflicts through effective communication and problem-solving skills. The successful candidate will possess strong analytical and organizational abilities, with proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other resource management tools.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Monitor and manage resource utilization across multiple projects and departments to ensure optimal workforce allocation.
  • Maintain accurate records of resource allocation and data management in various systems.
  • Coordinate with department leads to identify current and future staffing needs and propose strategies for improvement.
  • Support forecasting resource demand and resolving conflicts through effective communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Prepare detailed reports on resource availability, usage, and performance metrics to inform strategic decisions.
  • Facilitate the onboarding and offboarding process for project resources, ensuring seamless transitions.
  • Communicate regularly with project managers to understand and address staffing and capacity challenges.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • 4+ Years of Experience in Resource Management
  • Strong Organizational and Analytical Skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Resource Management Tools (e.g., Smartsheet, SAP, MS Project, D365)
  • Excellent Communication and Interpersonal Skills
  • Ability to Multitask and Manage Priorities in a Fast-Paced Environment
