Content Marketing Strategist Job Description

A Content Marketing Strategist will be responsible for developing and implementing a content strategy to build and maintain our online presence across various platforms. This includes creating engaging scripts for long-form social media videos, particularly on YouTube, and contributing to the overall content planning, creation, and distribution strategy.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Scriptwriting & Content Creation:
    • Develop original and compelling scripts for social media videos that resonate with our target audience.
    • Craft engaging dialogue, narratives, and formats that drive viewership and engagement.
    • Adapt scripts based on performance data and audience feedback.
  • Content Strategy & Management :
    • Develop and execute content strategies to enhance platform growth and audience engagement.
    • Create detailed execution blueprints to guide content creation and distribution across various teams.
    • Analyze competitor activities and social media trends to create content strategy and optimize performance.
  • Team Collaboration & Coordination :
    • Coordinate with multiple teams to ensure seamless content production and distribution.
    • Manage relationships with various stakeholders, ensuring alignment and collaboration.
    • Facilitate project synchronization to maintain cohesive progress across all team members.
  • Performance Analysis & Optimization :
    • Analyze performance data to identify areas for improvement and optimize content strategies.
    • Approach challenges with a problem-solving mindset, identifying effective solutions for any situation that arises.
Required Qualifications & Skills:
  • 3-5 years of experience in content marketing or a related field.
  • Passion for social media platforms and a strong understanding of their functionality and best practices.
  • Strong understanding of storytelling principles, character development, and dialogue.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Good analytical skills.
  • Balance between creative and analytical thinking.
