Job Title:

We are seeking a skilled Solar Energy Systems Designer to join our team.

The successful candidate will be responsible for designing and optimizing solar energy systems, conducting feasibility studies, and ensuring compliance with safety and industry standards.

This role involves performance modeling, component evaluation, preparing engineering documentation, and collaborating with teams and regulatory bodies.

  • Solar System Design: Collaborate with teams to design and optimize solar energy systems while participating in design reviews and cross-functional meetings.
  • Software Utilization: Utilize design software to model system performance and adapt designs based on project needs and technological advancements.
  • Documentation Preparation: Prepare and maintain engineering documentation, ensuring adherence to safety, quality, and industry standards.
  • Site Assessments: Conduct feasibility studies and site assessments to support project development and progress.
  • Component Evaluation: Evaluate and select solar components, analysing performance data to recommend improvements.
  • Trend Analysis: Stay current with industry trends and technologies, adapting to new tools and techniques in solar design.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Collaborate with regulatory bodies to secure permits and ensure projects meet safety and environmental regulations.
  • Technical Support: Offer technical support, address challenges, and contribute to a positive work environment.
Requirements:

A bachelor's/master's degree in electrical engineering is required.

Preferred Skills:
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Management experience a plus.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to take ideas and run with them from concept to conclusion.
  • Technical understanding of clean energy business processes.
  • Exceptional verbal and writing communication skills with superiors, peers, partners, and other stakeholders.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills while managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced and ever-changing environment.
