Cyber Security Expert

We are seeking an experienced Cyber Security Specialist to join our global team. As a key member, you will drive diversity and inclusion across all dimensions.

This role involves working as a Cyber Security Expert within the System Drives division based in Bangalore, India. You will be responsible for initiating and driving technology, software, product, and solution development using in-depth technical expertise in a specific area or a broad range of skills in a technical or product field and managing or coordinating cyber security program projects and activities of substantial impact to the business.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support strategic corporate technology direction and future product, software, solution cyber security strategies and process
  • Understanding of risk analysis, information security, security incident handling, response, and security
  • Collaborating with global or local R&D and product management teams to develop world-class products
  • Demonstrating strong commitment to quality culture in ABB R&D
  • Collaborating within R&D community and alignment with agile software development principles
  • Securing boot or local encryption within embedded devices element or trust zone implementation and support
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electronics, Computer Science, or related field
  • Minimum 10-13 years of experience in embedded development, IoT, cyber security testing, or design or strategies
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in embedded cyber security planning, strategy, testing, and minimum 2 years of experience in security-conscious product environment
  • Knowledge on hardware design with a focus on enabling cyber security within the product, JTAG related low-level hardware diagnostic and control interfaces
  • Strong experience in networking, system administration, ethical hacking, penetration testing, and strong knowledge of operating environments such as Windows, Linux, and Mac OS - preferably Yocto, Buildroot, Ubuntu Core, or other embedded distributions
