Inventory Management Expert

The Inventory Management Expert will be responsible for overseeing the entire inventory operation, ensuring timely and accurate fulfillment of orders, maintaining accurate records, and ensuring compliance with company standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage all aspects of inventory operations, including receipt, verification, and issue of materials.
  • Maintain accurate records of all inventory movements, including receipts, issues, and internal transfers.
  • Ensure proper labeling, categorization, and tracking of inventory items.
  • Monitor and maintain required minimum stock levels as per approved lists.
  • Coordinate decisions to retain or sell scrap with reporting manager.
  • Prepare non-moving items report on a monthly basis and make arrangements for disposal, as approved by management.
  • Keep the store clean, organized, and visually appealing and support in periodic audits and compliance checks.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Commerce or Science.
  • Experience in inventory management in the automotive industry.
  • Proficiency in ERP systems, MS Excel, and Word.
  • Barcode system skills.

Preferred Knowledge/Skills:

  • Sound knowledge of inventory management principles and best practices.
  • Working knowledge of ERP software like Odoo is a plus.
  • Hands-on implementation of inventory management standard operating procedures and systems.
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize, and work collaboratively with other departments.
