Inventory Management Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Inventory Management Specialist to join our team. As an essential member of our organization, you will be responsible for strategically managing and optimizing the flow of finished goods to ensure timely delivery and efficient use of resources.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement effective inventory management strategies to balance demand with supply, ensuring minimal stockouts and overstocking.
  • Analyze historical data and market trends to forecast future demand and adjust inventory levels accordingly.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of inventory levels, transactions, and movements.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify areas for process improvement and implement changes as needed.
  • Monitor and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) such as inventory turnover, days inventory outstanding (DIO), and fill rates to inform decision-making.
  • Identify opportunities for cost savings and implement initiatives to reduce waste and optimize resource allocation.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or related field.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in inventory management, preferably in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proven track record of success in improving inventory efficiency and reducing costs.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with ability to work independently and collaboratively.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to effectively communicate complex information to stakeholders.
  • Familiarity with inventory management software and systems, including ERP and WMS solutions.
