Job Title: Inventory Manager and Reporting Specialist

A key role in our organization is to ensure the accuracy and compliance of store operations & management information system reports, specifically focusing on inventory, material handling, and adherence to company policies.

  1. We are looking for a skilled individual who will conduct audits to identify discrepancies in stock, assess risk, and recommend improvements to enhance operational efficiency and protect assets and consumables.
  2. The incumbent should generate management information reports (MIS) related to stock on a monthly basis and submit them for review to the Inventory Control Manager.
  3. The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting physical inventory counts to verify inventory balances against system records, reconciling discrepancies, and ensuring accurate stock levels.
  4. Evaluating adherence to company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements within store operations, identifying areas of non-compliance and recommending corrective actions.
  5. Taking physical inventory twice a year to cross-check with the SAP inventory & MIS report. Investigate and correct errors. Knowledge of SAP for MM & PS modules is required.
  6. Using computerized and manual stock checking techniques to ensure that physical stock matches SAP system records.
  7. Monitoring bar code label printing & labeling on arrival of asset materials in the store.
  8. Ensuring adequate record-keeping and managing all documentation for transfer of materials between states and intra-state with e-way bills and relevant documents processing compliance.
  9. Ability to analyze data, identify trends, and draw conclusions from audit findings.
  10. Collaborating with the store team to capitalize project purchase assets in coordination with the accounts team on a timely basis. Generating the MIS to review asset capitalization status.
  11. Preparing detailed audit reports documenting findings, analysis, and recommendations, and communicating findings to the reporting manager.
  12. Maintaining vigilance to monitor/audit all project and non-project stores and inventory operations across various locations in India.

This role requires the ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and manage multiple projects simultaneously. The ideal candidate will possess excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills. Experience in inventory management, auditing, and SAP systems is highly desirable.
