Digital Content Revolution Leader

We're a stealth startup building a next-generation content platform powered by advanced machine-learning technology. Our mission is to revolutionize how people discover and consume digital content through personalized experiences while maintaining editorial integrity and user privacy.
Role OverviewWe're seeking an exceptional business leader to join as COO and Cofounder. You'll partner with our technical CEO to drive our platform's growth from MVP to market leadership. This is a unique opportunity to shape the future of personalized content discovery and build a significant business in the digital space.
Key Responsibilities- Strategic Leadership: Partner with CEO in setting company vision and strategy, lead go-to-market strategy and execution, drive business model development and validation, develop and execute growth strategies, build and manage key relationships with stakeholders.
- Product & Market Development: Lead beta testing program and user acquisition, drive product-market fit validation, develop and execute user growth strategies, manage user feedback collection and analysis, guide product development based on market insights, create and implement marketing strategies.
- Business Operations: Build and manage strategic partnerships, develop and negotiate licensing agreements, create and implement operational processes, manage legal and compliance requirements, handle financial planning and budgeting, lead non-technical hiring and team building.
- User Growth & Engagement: Design and execute user acquisition strategies, build and manage user communities, drive user engagement and retention, develop content strategy, manage user communications and feedback loops.
- Experience: 5+ years of experience in digital media, content platforms, or consumer tech, proven track record in business development or product management, experience in scaling user-focused products, track record of building and managing partnerships, startup experience preferred.
- Skills: Strong strategic thinking and business acumen, excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities, outstanding communication and negotiation skills, data-driven decision-making capability, product sense and user-centric thinking, understanding of ML/AI applications in consumer products.
- Domain Knowledge: Deep understanding of digital content landscape, knowledge of content distribution models, familiarity with digital rights management, understanding of content licensing and rights, awareness of digital media industry trends.
- Personal Qualities: Entrepreneurial mindset with hands-on execution ability, self-starter with high initiative, comfort with ambiguity and rapid change, strong leadership and team-building abilities, passion for content discovery and personalization.
- $150,000 - $200,000 per year salary, depending on experience, with significant equity stake as cofounder, opportunity to shape a revolutionary product, high degree of autonomy and decision-making authority, chance to disrupt traditional content discovery, work with cutting-edge ML/AI technology.
