Mac Desktop Support Expert

Our team is seeking a motivated and customer-focused professional with expertise in Mac desktop support. As a Mac Desktop Support Expert, you will provide first-level support for macOS-based systems, including installation, configuration, and troubleshooting.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide top-notch support for macOS systems, ensuring seamless user experiences.
  • Assist end-users with issues related to MacBooks, iMacs, macOS updates, and commonly used applications.
  • Perform routine maintenance, system checks, and software updates to ensure optimal system performance.
  • Configure and support Apple Mail, MS Outlook, VPN, printers, and network connectivity on macOS.
  • Manage user accounts, profiles, and system preferences to maintain a secure and efficient environment.
  • Deploy, configure, and manage macOS devices using Jamf Pro and other MDM platforms.
  • Document support issues, resolutions, and processes in a ticketing system for future reference.
  • Collaborate with other IT teams to escalate and resolve complex issues.
  • Assist with IT onboarding and offboarding processes to ensure smooth transitions.
Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful as a Mac Desktop Support Expert, you should possess the following skills and qualifications:

  • 1 year of experience in Mac desktop support or a similar role.
  • Solid understanding of macOS, Apple hardware, and the Apple ecosystem.
  • Familiarity with basic networking (Wi-Fi, Ethernet, VPN) and troubleshooting steps.
  • Experience with remote support tools (e.g., Apple Remote Desktop, TeamViewer, AnyDesk).
  • Exposure to Jamf Pro or other MDM tools for device management.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • BASIC knowledge of scripting (e.g., Bash, AppleScript) is a plus.
  • Experience with helpdesk/ticketing systems (Jira, ServiceNow, etc.).
