Job Title: MS Office Support Engineer

 

Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled Technical Support Specialist to join our team, responsible for delivering exceptional technical expertise and support for Microsoft 365 product applications.

  • Perform Level 2 application support and incident management tasks efficiently.
  • Collaborate closely with the Productivity Tools team to resolve complex issues related to Microsoft Office applications, add-ins, and other supported products.
  • Elevate complex issues to Level 3 engineers or vendors as necessary.

 

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide technical support for Microsoft Office applications, including troubleshooting COM add-ins across the suite.
  • Work collaboratively with Level 1/1.5 support teams to resolve incidents effectively.
  • Escalate complex issues to Level 3 engineers or vendors for resolution.

 

Requirements:
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science Engineering/Technology.
  • Hold relevant technical certifications.
  • Demonstrate strong background in troubleshooting enterprise Windows, Mac, and iOS environments, as well as MS Office 365 applications.
  • Proven ability to resolve issues related to crashes, performance, installation, data loss, features, licensing, and deployment of Office applications and their add-ins within enterprise environments.
  • Expertise in supporting Outlook and native email clients, with deep knowledge of delegation, shared mailbox access, PST migrations, online archives, and related enterprise environment issues.
  • Familiarity with Adobe applications is an advantage.
  • Proficient in ITIL and Major Incident Management principles.
