Project Financial Manager

As a Project Financial Manager, you will oversee the preparation of project budgets, annual and quarterly planning, as well as rolling forecasts. You will be accountable for project invoicing, tax issues, bonds, and guarantees, financial accounting, and reporting.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare project budget, annual and quarterly planning, and rolling forecasts.
  • Accountable for project invoicing, tax issues, bonds, and guarantees, financial accounting, and reporting.
  • Participate in opportunity and risk identification, ensuring timely mitigation actions.
  • Drive monthly project reviews with the PM/Central Controller/PSCM.
  • Review and have joint responsibility for all financial aspects of the project.
  • Ensure alignment with other functions, including Project Controls, Planning/Scheduling.
  • Promote commercial awareness in the project team.
  • Provide commercial input to the project execution plan.
  • Co-ordinate with the Client for approval on invoices and payments.
  • Maintain an updated billing register capturing details of all billings till date.
  • Monitor and control site expenses, weekly reporting of project expenses.
  • Analysis of actual vs. budget costs and revenue on the project.
  • Leading the activity of project actualisation at defined frequency.
  • Review of Kappa against the budgeted costs and highlight potential issues.
  • Sharing of project slides for monthly business review.
  • Comprehensive check on provisions to ensure accuracy and completeness.
  • Monthly cash verification and surprise verification.
  • Lead and supervise compliance on Internal Financial Controls (IFC) as defined by HO in the Risk and Control Matrix (RCM).
  • Monitoring of ABG, PBG, and other guarantees to ensure timely renewal or reduction.
  • Compliance with tax regulations.
  • Provide support to the execution team and become a core finance support.
  • Timely filling of man days for self and staff working on his project.
  • Supervise the day-to-day work of site accountant.
  • Support central controlling team on various analysis and adhoc requests.
